Eugh to those nights I spend wracking my brain about what to prepare for dinner on the way home from work. I try to envision my fridge but there is never anything good it.
This “set it and forget it” recipe is thanks to my mom, who has gotten me hooked on it! All you need is your oven and your are more than half way there. No slow cooker? No problem, because that thang isn’t needed here. Not. Even. A. Little
What you’ll need:
- Your favourite cut of chicken (thighs, legs, breasts)
- A So Juicy spice pack (only $1.99) in any flavour (my fav is garlic)
- Optional: two potatoes cut into large chunks
- Optional: two large carrots cut into large chunks
What to do:
Step one: Preheat the to 350 degrees.
Step two: Follow directions on the So Juicy spice pack.
Step three: Add chicken, potatoes, carrots and seasoning to the bag.
Step four: Close the bag and shake until chicken is fully coated
Step five: Place bag into medium sized baking dish spreading the chicken out as flat as possible. Poke three smalls holes into the bag to release steam.
Step six: Bake in the oven for 45 to 55 minutes.
What can you do while your chicken gets so juicy? You could watch an episode or two of your fav Netflix series, stress free. Minimal clean up, delicious dinner.
