SKETCH Open Studio celebrates 10 weeks of youth leadership in the arts

Celebrate the holidays this Thursday along with youth leadership in community arts with music, visual arts and performances at SKETCH Open Studio: A Community Showcase.

SKETCH, a Toronto-based community arts initiative that creates equal opportunities for young people between the ages of 16 to 29 living homeless and marginalized, is showcasing a culmination of the organization’s inaugural fall session of one-to-one workshop programming. Emerging artists will be exhibiting and selling their work, sharing live music and performing pieces – all of which were inspired by SKETCH’s new programs, which began in October and ended early this month.

SKETCH will have masks on display from Procession Project, holiday ‘krafting’ from Krafty Queers and live jam sessions in their music recording studio. For a full list of artists and activities, click here.
